The Head of the State Emergency Service and foreign diplomats inspected the damage caused by russian strikes near the “Lukyanivska” metro station in Kyiv
Andriy Danyk, the Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, together with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Moldova Mihai Popșoi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiga, Acting Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Andriy Tkachov, and nearly 60 heads of Ukrainian diplomatic missions abroad visited the sites of russian strikes near the “Lukyanivska” metro station in Kyiv.
During the meeting, the Head of the Service briefed the delegation on the work of rescuers during the elimination of the consequences of russian shelling, described the emergency response algorithm, the main challenges faced daily by State Emergency Service units, as well as measures to strengthen the civil protection system and restore damaged infrastructure.
“Every russian strike is a challenge for every Ukrainian and for the entire civil protection system. Our rescuers are working under extremely difficult conditions, often under the threat double-tap shelling. Despite this, the main task remains the same—to rescue people as quickly as possible, provide assistance to the victims, and address the consequences of the attacks,” emphasized the Head of the State Emergency Service.
